Environmental Resources Specialist
The Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) is seeking an individual to assist in the permitting, planning, environmental compliance, legislative monitoring and advocacy, and public outreach for the WPWMA’s solid waste and recycling programs.  Work will include tracking, analyzing and interpreting applicable existing and proposed laws and regulations; engaging with the public; facility permitting; program planning; preparing California Environmental Quality Act documentation; and preparing and reviewing technical reports.  A strong candidate will have experience in regulatory compliance, solid waste management, be a motivated self-starter, and have excellent communication s
