Job Responsibilities

• Install and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devices
• Inspection of fire alarm and related systems
• Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of service calls and completed work
• Excellent customer service

Job Requirements

To qualify for the Fire Alarm Technician position, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems.

Additional requirements of the Fire Alarm Technician Position include:

• NICET Certification Fire Alarm Level 1 or higher required level 2 preferred
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA 72 requirements and electrical codes
• Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email
• Strong customer service skills and communications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check
• Pay is based on combination of experience and level of certification
